Groovetopia 03:53
If you need a reason to get funky You don’t need to look no other way If you wanna dance, you gon' get lucky ‘Cause there ain’t no other place With this Bassline You don't need a reason to be happy Grab somebody and lets have some fun We’ll bring you to your feet and make it snappy ‘Cause our Bassline’s number one With our Bassline Take a ride on our groovin’ bus With our guidance, you won’t ever get Lost in this massive cloud of funkness Only found in this groovin' place What you’re hearin' now is stank at it's finest We're dishin’ funk right in your face With our Bassline
Duende 03:49
The lights come up, they call our name And a crowd gathers round Everyone's here to play the game We’ll take you to a higher ground Pushing the time ‘cause we know how Gonna sweat to make it groove Rhythm and voice come together now ‘Cause we've got something to prove Don’t know where I'm going But I know I’ll get there somehow There’s no time for slowin’ As I make my way To find a place where love resides Collective melodies to share between You and I El Duende
Best of Me 02:52
I was losing focus, keeping you on my mind Losing sleep every night Tired of all the arguing, fight after fight Keeping me confined Baby, I need some time for me Some peace of mind to be free from this Misery, it won't get the best of me Without it I can finally breathe And move on and move on and move on and on Sitting with your silence and your absent mind As I close my eyes Done with all the suffering, night after night Time to cut the ties Exhale all of the memories Quiet the mind
Mucho 01:31
Misery won't get the best of me Without it I can finally breathe

This record would not exist without help of our very generous friends and family. We are beyond grateful to those who have given their time, patience, and - oftentimes - their gear! We hope you are just as proud of this record as we are! We ended up recording this album in a studio we built in Sam’s (our drummer's) basement, so a big "thank you!" is in order to the Goswell family for putting up with the entire band weekend after weekend!

A very special shout out to Matthew Johnston for recording one of our live shows as well as loaning us an absurd amount of equipment that went into this album.

Thank you to Nick Starecky, Mark Ritter, William Lamoureux, and Jeremy Tozer for lending us your equipment and just existing in general. Thank you to Charlie Shepherd for filming our gig at The Piston!

Thank you to our sister-band UFO (Unidentified Funk Object)! You guys put on great shows every time we play together and we hope to do it more often!

Thank you to Andrew Mullin and Peter Cook from Humber College for being great educators, we would not know how to record without you guys. A big thank you to all the Humber Studio receptionists that helped us graduates out with this album! In particular Elena Rawlins for recording BG vocals for us on a whim! A super huge thank you to Philip Spencer and Reuben Ghose for mixing and mastering our album, and for being the best at what you do.

Lastly, thanks to anyone who buys (or even hears) this record. We love creating music together and we hope this is just the start of a long and rewarding journey. Your support means everything to us!
